iPod Touch With A Camera?

There have been rumors about the iPod Touch having camera, before the second generation was released, and ever time those rumors were false. Apple has been know for somewhat doing there own thing no matter what. I believe Apple thinks as long as there still buying are products steadily, they think there is no reason do any more. Also they do need to balance the market between the iPod Touch market and the iPhone market. Many people buy the iPhone because of the camera knowing that there is a built in Microphone and Camera for skype calls and such. Of course there is also the phone, but almost everyone has a phone. It is not about the Phone making calls it is know about what other things the phone can do. Apps that is another major, reason for people to buy the iPhone and iPod touch or iTouch if you will. People that love to have everything in one, and are able to afford thirty dollars every month for at&t’s internet access. The iPod Touch apply’s to people that are looking to game more on there iPod, of course this is not always the case but this is how Apple looks at it. Gamers buy for the applications you can run on them. People buy the iPhone for the service, and the camera.

I am not a gamer, nor did I buy my iPod Touch for gaming primarily. But Apple views it as that. I would love my iPod Touch much more if it did have a camera, because there are so many more things I could use it for. I could take crazy pictures, I would always have a camera on the go, I could automatically upload my pictures to Flickr. There would be so many more possibility. But then again I understand why Apple did not jump to this move right away. Just think how long iPod Touch users have wanted a iPod Touch with a camera. Apple believes when they do release all of those first, second and third generation users that have not upgraded will, because they have a reason to upgrade. Honestly I believe I would! It would benefit be greatly as it would with many others. Some others would just want the latest and greatest and some users will just want to have all there photos on the go. But Apple knows in the back of there head when they make this move it will be a hit. If I was Apple I would wait tell the company is in a crisis (if this ever happens). The reason why is because they will sell, and they will sell big.

So do I think the next generation iPod Touch will have a camera? You know what I don’t know and neither do any of these rumors. If I was Apple I would not put a camera in this upcoming generation. Only because they just released the iPad and that is the big “hit” right now, when that fades down then maybe that is the time to release the iPod Touch with a camera. There are many rumors going around the web saying that people have found an iPod Touch with a camera. This articles that I saw showed pictures, and that by itself made me not believe these rumors. It may happen, no question but the design is way off. Why would they redesign the iPhone completely and not the iPod Touch. Many people ask well then why do these people have these pictures. It’s a simple answer Photoshop. Anyone that knows Photoshop well enough knows people can do almost, or make almost anything by using Adobe Photoshop. I would love to see the next iPod Touch have a camera! Will it happen? We all do not know. My question for you is “If Apple’s next iPod Touch comes with a camera will you upgrade, or buy your first iPod Touch, or maybe your first iPod?
